Bike-tour close to the water & through the „green hell“
An unforgettable bike-weekend in Germany – offered by Ambiente Hotel Bergheim
A lot of bends, hidden river valleys, stinted plateaus, romantic villages with timber frame houses, a spectaculary view on the big lake „Rursee“ and many more impressions you will get during this weekend in the region, called “Eifel”.
We will start Saturday morning at 10:00 am at our headquarter, Ambiente-Hotel in Bergheim (Rhineland near Cologne, Germany).
First round will go to lake Rursee and to the timber frame village Monschau. For lunch we will visit the well known Biker Ranch in Strauch. There Silvia and Udo await us for a snack or only relaxing, whatever you want.
After lunch we allow ourself a slow down passage down to lake Rursee to take a cup of tea or anything else. Thereafter we start a curvaceous and spectaculary road to the romantic village of Monschau. Later we use the serpentines near Nideggen back to our headquarter in Bergheim.
Our host awaits us for a flavour barbecue. We already drove 120 km.
Sunday we will start at 09:00 am in the direction of “green hell” – Nurburgring. We will pass the old city Bad Munstereifel and will drive in long seroentines down to our first break at biker’s point “Waldfrieden” in Schuld. Thereafter we will reach Nurburgring after a short passage of 30 minutes. There we will have a stop of 1,5 hours. It is the chance for you to drive on the racing cours with your own bike (if there is no event during this day).
Afternoon we will drive back along the wine-growing district called “Ahrtal” and we will see a lot of old castles. We will be back at Bergheim at 5:00 pm.
Both tours are applicable for beginners, too.
Bike weekend contents:
1 overnight stay with continental breakfast
1 flavour barbecue
2 bike tours with guide
1 roadmap and a lot of souvenir photos (as jpg-file).
Price: 245,00 Euro per person (includes tax/vat). Extra night: 88,00 Euro
If you prefer to rent a bike we can offer BMW and Harley Davidson (extra charge).
